2.2.5 Notes on the characters that can be displayed on the screen
The character font Navigation Platform can display varies depending on whether Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome is used, or an iPad. When Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome is used, MS PGothic can be displayed. When an iPad is used, the Hiragino Kaku Gothic font can be displayed. Because both MS PGothic and Hiragino Kaku Gothic are proportional fonts, the character width varies by character.
If you desire to display other than MS PGothic or Hiragino Kaku Gothic characters, you must substitute images for the characters. Static-text parts, however, enable you to specify the font size, color of characters, and character decoration (use of boldface), by specifying the attributes of static text.
For characters (such as the character strings indicating hyperlinks and selections in drop-down lists) displayed in other than static-text parts, you cannot change font size, color, and decoration from their defaults. Also, you cannot change the font size, color, and decoration of characters that are entered by users in text boxes and areas from their defaults.
