6.4.3 Procedure for deleting access permission groups
This section explains the procedure for deleting access permission groups in the Access Permissions window. Deletion of access permission groups must be performed in each environment. Note the following about deleting access permission groups:

If you delete an access permission group, problems might occur in tasks because a user that had been defined as a Content Manager or a Content Editor in that access permission group can now only reference Operational Contents.

The access permission group Standard access permissions cannot be deleted.

If an access permission group to be deleted has been set as the only access permission group for any of the Operational Contents, that access permission group cannot be deleted.

In the web browser, specify the following URL to display the login window:

host-name
This is the host name or IP address of the J2EE server machine for Navigation Platform.

port-number
This is the port number of the web server for Navigation Platform. It is the value of the ucnp.setup.server.cosminexus.hws.http.port property in the user setup property file (ucnp_setup_user.properties).

Enter your user ID and password, and then click the Login button.
Enter a user ID with Navigation Platform's system administrator permissions (the default is user1) and the password. The Operational Content Editing Window is displayed.

Select the Access Permissions menu located at the top (header area) of the Operational Content Editing Window to display the Access Permissions window.

In the Access Permission Groups area, select the check box for the access permission group that you want to delete.
To delete multiple access permission groups at once, select the check boxes of all the access permission groups that you want to delete.

In the Access Permission Groups area, click the Delete menu.
A dialog box confirming whether the access permission groups are to be deleted is displayed.

In the dialog box, click the OK button.
The access permission groups selected in step 4 are deleted.
