5.13.5 Items and format for JP1 event information association files
This subsection explains the items to be specified in the JP1 event information association file (ucnp_jp1event_mapping.txt) and the specification format.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Items in the JP1 event information association file
Specify the following items in the JP1 event information association file:
-
Event ID
-
Source event server name (registered host name)
-
Product name
-
Message
-
Operational Content ID
For details about the items other than the Operational Content ID, see the description about the items displayed in the event list in the manual JP1/Integrated Management - Manager Administration Guide or the manual JP1/Integrated Management 2 - Manager Administration Guide, or the documentation of the product that output JP1 events.
(2) Format of the JP1 event information association file
Specify the JP1 event information association file in the following format:
event-ID<tab>source-event-server-name<tab>product-name<tab>message<tab>Operational-Content-ID<linefeed>
- Legend:
-
<tab>: Tab
<linefeed>: Linefeed code
Define one association per line. Delimit the items with a tab. You can specify a maximum of 1,000 lines. The only supported character encoding is UTF-8.
The following shows an example of a JP1 event information association file:

(3) Checking whether JP1 event information matches
Navigation Platform compares the two data items listed below and determines whether they match. Note that Navigation Platform does not check the JP1 event information that is associated with an Operational Content for which there is no access permission.
-
JP1 event information received from the other JP1 product (JP1 event information indicated in (1) Items in the JP1 event information association file)
-
JP1 event information specified in the JP1 event information association file
If the JP1 event information received from the other JP1 product is an empty character string, Navigation Platform assumes that it matches the JP1 event information specified in the JP1 event information association file. If the JP1 event information specified in the JP1 event information association file is an empty character string, Navigation Platform assumes that it matches the JP1 event information received from other JP1 products.
The items in the JP1 event information received from other JP1 products are checked based on leading match. If multiple rows match based on leading match, only the definition on the first row takes effect.
