5.9.2 Procedure for changing uCosminexus Portal Framework settings (using Portal Manager)

(1) Starting Portal Manager

1. From the Windows Start menu, click Programs, Navigation Platform - Server, uCosminexus Portal Framework, and then Start Portal Manager.

   Portal Manager starts.

2. Access Portal Manager.

   On the web browser, specify the following URL:

   http://host-name:port-number/PortalSetup/admin/portalsetup/index.jsp

   host-name

   This is the host name or the IP address of the machine on which Portal Manager is installed. In an environment in which Navigation Platform is set up exactly as described in this manual, 127.0.0.1 is the host name used for connecting from the machine on which Navigation Platform is installed.

   port-number

   This is the port number that Portal Manager uses. It is the value of the ucnp.setup.server.portal.manager.http.port property specified in the user setup property file (ucnp_setup_user.properties). The default value is 24710.

(2) Changing the Portal Manager settings

To change the Portal Manager settings:

1. From Portal Manager's menu, select Select a Portal Project.

   The Select a Portable Project window is displayed.

2. From Portal Manager's menu, select Set Repository, Connection Information, and then Modify.

   The Select Connection Information window is displayed.

3. In the Select Connection Information window, enter the following items.

   Item name	Setting
   Connection target type	Select the type of target repository from the drop-down list. Example: LDAP
   Connection target name	Select the name of the target directory server on which repository information is to be stored. Example: LDAP-1

4. Click the Search button.

   The Set Connection Information window is displayed.

5. In the Set Connection Information window, enter the following items.

   Item name	Setting
   Target URL	Specify the port number of protocol://directory-server's-address:directory-server. For protocol, specify ldap or ldaps. Example: ldap://localhost:389
   Target user name	Specify the DN of the user for directory server connection. Example: CN=user1,CN=Users,DC=hitachi,DC=jp
   Target password	Specify the user password for directory server connection. Example: UCNPPASS

6. Click the Add button.

   The connection information is added.

7. Restart Navigation Platform to apply the changed settings.
