3.6.2 Upgrading procedure

The general procedure for upgrading is shown below. For the detailed procedures, see 3.6.5 Upgrade procedure.

1. Back up the data from the upgrade target.

2. Perform the unsetup procedure to restore the previous version's environment.

3. Uninstall the previous version's environment.

4. Upgrade JP1/Base.

5. Upgrade JP1/Automatic Operation.

6. Upgrade Eclipse.

7. Install Navigation Platform.

8. Revise the user setup property file (ucnp_setup_user.properties).

9. Set up Navigation Platform.

10. Extend the database.

11. Restore the data from the upgrade target.
