The machine specifications listed here include only the specifications required to run Navigation Platform. When determining the final machine specifications, supplement these recommended specifications with the specifications required to run the OS and other necessary software.

When the dashboard function is used, the required hard disk capacity depends on the amount of operation log data. Add two times the storage needed for operation logs to the estimated hard disk capacity.
For details about estimating the required memory capacity when using the dashboard function, see 5.4.4(2) Estimating the memory capacity when using the dashboard function. If you will be uploading operation logs, you need to add hard disk capacity equivalent to the size of the operation logs for use as a temporary area. For details about uploading operation logs, see 5.4.4(5) Uploading operation logs.

The size of the operation log file might increase depending on how Navigation Platform is to be used. If necessary, increase the amount of hard disk space in proportion to the size of the operation log file. For more information about the relationship between how Navigation Platform is used and the size of the operation log file, see 3.4.2 Estimating the size of the operation log file.

In order to facilitate debugging, the development environment requires more memory than the execution and editing environments.

Wi-Fi is the only connection mode that can be used to access Navigation Platform.

24-bit or higher color screens are recommended for all machines. At less than 24 bits, the screen might exhibit color inconsistencies.

Set the system font size to Normal on each machine. If the system font size is not set to Normal, text might not be displayed correctly, for example text might wrap to the next line in unexpected places.

Make sure the region and language settings for the system account and the current users are the same. If the region and language settings are different, the trace files might not output correctly.
