1.2.3 Installation folder for each product

If the OS on the JP1/AO server is Windows, specify the installation folder for each product in the installation wizard. If the OS on the JP1/AO server is Linux, the installation folder for each product is fixed and you cannot change it.

The part "JP1AO" is fixed. In this manual, "the JP1/AO installation folder" refers to system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\JP1AO.

This component is a collection of functions that are shared by JP1/AO and Hitachi Command Suite products. Common Component is installed as part of JP1/AO.

If Hitachi Command Suite products have been installed, Common Component also has been installed in a folder that was created during the installation of Hitachi Command Suite products. Therefore, the folder "system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\HiCommand\Base64" is not created.

The part "HiCommand\Base64" is fixed.

If you change the JP1/AO installation folder, the part "system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi" is changed.

This component is a collection of functions that are shared by JP1/AO and Hitachi Command Suite products. Common Component is installed as part of JP1/AO.

If Hitachi Command Suite products have been installed, Common Component also has been installed. In this case, Common Component has been installed in a folder that was created during the installation of other Hitachi Command Suite products. Therefore, the folder "/opt/HiCommand/Base64" is not created.

If the OS on the JP1/AO server is Windows, you cannot specify the folders below as installation destinations. Do not specify the JP1/AO Content Pack installation folder or its subfolders as installation destinations.
