3.2.14 Finding text in a file

To search for text in a script file:

1. Display the script file that you want to search.

   

2. Choose Search, Find.

   The Search dialog box appears.

   

   For details about using this dialog box, see 4.2.6 Search dialog box.

3. Make sure the Replace check box is not selected.

   Clear the Replace check box if selected.

4. Enter the search string in the Search string box. Select the Case sensitive and Search whole word boxes as required.

   

5. Click the Search Previous or Search Next button.

   JP1/Script looks for the search string. A beep sounds if there is no such text in the file.

   

6. Click Cancel to finish searching.

   The Search dialog box closes.
