6.5 Defining custom document formats
You can customize the layout of a document to suit your needs. The following items can be defined in a format definition:

Basic format (monthly/daily/list)

A monthly document shows the execution schedules and results for one month, with each cell containing the information for one day.
- Daily

A daily document shows the execution schedules and results for one day, with each cell containing the information for one hour.
- List

A document in list format shows definition items, execution schedules, and execution results in columns.

You can save a document format as a format definition file, and make the format available for selection by registering it in the format combo box.
To output a document with a customized layout:

In the Job Operation Document Output window, from the Edit menu, choose Format Definition Settings.
The Format Definition Settings window appears.

Define the document format in the Format Definition Settings window.

Click Save.
The format definition is saved to a format definition file at the specified location.

In the Job Operation Document Output window, from the Options menu, choose Environment Settings.
The Environment Settings window appears.

In the Environment Settings window, click the Browse button in the Format definition area, and change the default folder to the folder that contains the format definition files you want to display.
After changing the folder, choose Refresh from the View menu. The format combo box will now display the format definition information stored in the format definition folder you selected in the Environment Settings window. When you select an item in the format combo box, a representation of the document appears in the layout you created.
