2.3.1 Accessing SSO
In this procedure you log in to SSO, and start configuring SSO.
Before you begin
If you use a 32-bit Web browser, use a 32-bit Java Plug-in. If you use a 64-bit Web browser, use a 64-bit Java Plug-in.
If you use Java 8, specify the settings by referencing the Release Notes for SSO.
If the SSO screen does not open, change the settings for Internet Explorer according to the following procedure:
Start Internet Explorer.
From the Tools menu, click Internet Options and then the Security tab, and select the security zone Local intranet or Trusted sites.
Change the security level for the security zone to Medium-high or lower.
Click Sites.
Add the host name (or IP address) of the Monitoring Manager specified by using the URL to Websites.
Restart the Web browser.
From the Tools menu, click ActiveX Filtering, and then clear the ActiveX Filtering check box.
Restart the Web browser.
Procedure
From the Web browser, access SSO.
http://host-name:port-number/SSOConsole/
For host-name, enter the host name of the Monitoring Manager. The default port number is 20393.
Enter the user name and password.
For user-name and password, enter the values that you set in the SSO definition information.
Click Login.
The SSO console is displayed.

You can also display the SSO console by selecting the Windows Start menu, Programs and Features, SNMP System Observer, and SSO.
