7.3.3 Change Password window

The Change Password window is used to change the user IDs and passwords specified when recording the IE scenarios. To display this window, in the Web Recorder (main) window, from the Edit menu, choose Change Password. You can change passwords for the pop-up dialog operation with the Windows standard password input field and the enter text operation to the <INPUT TYPE=PASSWORD> tag in the HTML document.

The following describes the displayed items.

User ID:

Display the user ID when recording. If the user ID was not entered, none is displayed. Specify the user ID up to 1024 characters. This item cannot be changed by default.

None is displayed for the enter text operation to the <INPUT TYPE=PASSWORD> tag in the HTML document.

Change user ID check box

Select this check box when you change the user ID. After you select this check box, you can change the user ID. The default is that this check box is not selected. This check box cannot be selected for the enter text operation to the <INPUT TYPE=PASSWORD> tag in the HTML document (not activated).

New password:

Specify the new password up to 1024 characters.

Confirm new password:

Re-enter the password you specify in the New password. If you enter a different password, an error message is displayed.

Change password for same IDs check box

Change password for all the operations in the IE scenario file with the same ID as the current one entered. This check box is not selected by default.

This check box cannot be selected for the enter text operation to the <INPUT TYPE=PASSWORD> tag in the HTML document (not activated).
