JP1 Version 11 JP1/Performance Management - Agent Option for Service Response Description, User's Guide and Reference

1.1.6 Operation in a cluster system

Employment of a cluster system creates a highly reliable system that can continue job processing even in the event of a system failure, thereby achieving 24-hour operation and monitoring for Performance Management.

The following figure shows an example of operation in the event of a host failure in a cluster system.

Two environments with the same settings are created. Then the environment that is normally used for operations is defined as the executing node, and the other environment that will be used in the event of a failure is defined as the standby node.

For details about the operation of Performance Management in a cluster system, see 6. Operation in a Cluster System.
