3.4.2 Displaying search results

The results of a simple search or a search that you performed with the Specify item search conditions window are displayed in the List of item search results window.

The following figure shows the List of item search results window.

Figure 3‒18: "List of item search results" window

[Figure]

By default, the List of item search results window is sorted by registration date and time in descending order. Note that this window can display a maximum of 100 Items. If the number of Items that satisfy the search conditions exceeds 100, only the first 100 Items are displayed, and other Items are not displayed. In this case, 100+ Matches is displayed as the number of matching Items. To display 101st and following Items, you must add search conditions to further narrow down the search results. For example, check the registration date and time of the 100th Item, and then click the Search again button. When the Specify item search conditions window appears again, enter a time earlier than the registration date and time of the 100th Item as an additional search condition, and then perform a search again.

The following describes the operations that can be performed in the List of item search results window.

Re-searching for Items:

When you click the Search again button, the Specify item search conditions window re-appears. In this window, the search conditions that were used for the previous search are displayed. If the previous search was a simple search, the search condition that was used is displayed in Search with this keyword in that window. By adding search conditions, you can further narrow down the search results.

Exporting a list of Items to a CSV file:

You can export a list of Items in the search results to a CSV file by clicking the CSV button. You can select the Items that you want to export. For details about exporting Items to a CSV file, see 3.13 Exporting Item information to a CSV file.

Performing batch operations on Items

By clicking the Batch Operation button, you can perform batch operations on Items whose check boxes are selected in the List of item search results window. Note that this button only appears in systems where batch operations on Items are enabled. For details on batch operations on Items, see 3.7 Batch operations on Items.

Displaying the information linked to a clickable item:

Clickable items are displayed in the Title and Person in charge fields. You can click such an item to display its detailed or related information.
