3.5.1 Problems in sending (the address book does not appear)

The possible causes of problems in sending are as follows:

Collect a log by following the procedure described in 3.5.2 Collecting a Java console log, and then send it to the system administrator.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Java failed to start because JRE was not allowed to be executed

When a message that asks permission to run JRE appears, click Run ActiveX Control.

The address book does not appear unless you run JRE.

(2) Java successfully started but the Java proxy authentication failed

Does the Authentication Required dialog box appear?

If so, enter your user ID and password for the proxy authentication. The address book does not appear unless this proxy authentication is implemented.

(3) Java successfully started but the Java applet of JP1/DH - Server failed to start

Does the Security Information dialog box that asks you whether you run the Java applet of JP1/DH - Server appear? If so, click Run.

The address book does not appear unless you run the applet.
