H.2 Extracting the system log information and CCMS Alert Information

If you change the size or output format of storage files, manually delete the existing storage and management files.
The current settings in the environment parameter files for system log information and CCMS Alert Information are inherited during upgrading, including the existing instances.
If sections and labels are added to the environment parameter file during upgrading, information about the added sections and labels is not applied to the environment parameter file. For details about the added sections and labels, see L. Version Changes.
If PFM - Agent for Enterprise Applications is upgraded from version 09-00 or earlier, the storage files will have the same output format as before (WRAP1).
If PFM - Agent for Enterprise Applications is upgraded from version 09-00 or earlier and a new instance is configured or an environment parameter file is created from a sample environment parameter file, the items related to system log information and CCMS Alert Information storage files are set to the following default values:
- Output format (TYPE label in the EXTRACTFILE section): WRAP2
- File size (SIZE label in the EXTRACTFILE section): 10240 (kilobytes)
