3.3.1 Registering passwords

To measure the Internet services listed in the table below, you must register the passwords that are required to access the target Internet services.

Table 3-1 Internet services that require password registration

Service Condition Password to be registered
HTTP, HTTPS Web page requiring authentication Password for the Web page
HTTP, HTTPS Use of a proxy that requires authentication Password for the proxy
HTTPS Client authentication is to be performed Private key password
SMTP POP3 (POP before SMTP) authentication is to be performed Password for the POP3 server
POP3 Required Password for the POP3 server
IMAP4 Required Password for the IMAP4 server
FTP Required Password for the FTP server

You use the password utility (esppasswd command) to register passwords. Each registered password is converted to character string format and then stored in the password file (esp.pdb).

Password file storage location:
installation-folder\agtv\probe\passwd
