F. Startup Information File (jpccomm.ini)

The startup information file is an information file for setting up the operation of Performance Management.

The storage directory of the startup information file (jpccomm.ini) is shown below:

In Windows:
  • For physical hosts:

    installation-folder\

  • For logical hosts:

    environment-directory\jp1pc\

In UNIX:
  • For physical hosts:

    /opt/jp1pc/

  • For logical hosts:

    environment-directory\jp1pc\

When you want to restore the jpccomm.ini file to the data and settings it contained before it was edited, delete the edited jpccomm.ini file, copy the model file (jpccomm.ini.model) shown below, and then rename the model file jpccomm.ini.

The following are notes on editing the jpccomm.ini file:

  • For details about the items in the jpccomm.ini file and about whether these items can be edited, see the part that provides an explanation for each label in F.1 Settings items in the startup information file (jpccomm.ini).

  • When you rename the jpccomm.ini.model file to restore the jpccomm.ini file to the data and settings it contained before it was edited, the status management function is disabled and the Status Server service cannot be started. To use the status management function, re-enable the function by using the jpcconf stat enable command.

  • The jpccomm.ini file also contains definition information other than the following setting items. Do not change values other than the items that you need to change to meet your needs. If you change any other values, Performance Management might not operate normally.
