jpcconf ha export
- Organization of this page
Format
jpcconf ha export -f logical-host-environment-definition-file-name [-noquery]
Function
The jpcconf ha export command exports to a specified file the settings of a Performance Management logical host environment.
This command can be executed only for a Performance Management product that supports logical host operation. PFM - Manager supports logical host operation. For details about logical host operation of a particular PFM - Agent or PFM - RM, see the chapter in the relevant PFM - Agent or PFM - RM manuals that describes cluster system operations.

Arguments
-f logical-host-environment-definition-file-name
Specifies the name of the file to which the settings of the logical host environment are to be exported. If the file name contains spaces, enclose the entire name in double quotation marks (").
-noquery
If this option is specified, the command does not output any query messages that interrupt command execution, making it unnecessary for the user to respond. Specify this option if you want the command to run in non-interactive mode.
If a file with the same name as the specified file name already exists, a KAVE05399-I message is output and the file is updated.
Notes
-
To synchronize the environments of the executing node and the standby node in a cluster system, you execute this command at the executing node to export the environment definition file of the logical host environment in the following cases:
-
The logical host environment has just been set up or settings have been changed.
-
Setup of the logical host environment was removed.
-
-
If command execution is interrupted by pressing the Ctrl + C keys or by a signal, a predefined return value is not returned. Therefore, you should ignore the return value when the command was interrupted by the Ctrl + C keys or by a signal.
-
You do not need to stop Performance Management program services on the logical host when you execute this command.

Usage example
This example exports the settings of a configured logical host environment to a logical host environment definition file (jp1-ha1.conf):
jpcconf ha export -f jp1-ha1.conf
