11.5.2 Exporting definition information
This subsection describes the procedure for exporting definition information of PFM - Manager and PFM - Web Console.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Exporting the definition information of PFM - Manager
To execute the jpctool config mgrexport command to export the definition information of PFM - Manager:

Log on to the host on which PFM - Manager has been installed.

Execute the jpctool config mgrexport command to export the definition information of PFM - Manager.
The following are notes on executing the command:

Do not specify a network drive for the export destination.

Do not change the definition information and system configuration while export is in process.

Do not perform any change operations requiring administrator privileges.

For example, to export the definition information of PFM - Manager to the /tmp/pfmexport directory, execute the command as follows:
jpctool config mgrexport -d /tmp/pfmexport

(2) Exporting the definition information of PFM - Web Console
Execute the jpcwbackup command to create a backup file for the definition information of PFM - Web Console. Use a part of the created backup file as the export data.
The following are the definition information files of PFM - Web Console that need to be exported.

Bookmark definition information
The bookmark definition information is stored in the following location on the PFM - Web Console host by default.

In UNIX
/opt/jp1pcwebcon/bookmarks/

Definition information of the process monitoring definition template
The definition information of the process monitoring definition template is stored in the following location on the PFM - Web Console host by default.

installation-folder\processMonitoringTemplates\

/opt/jp1pcwebcon/processMonitoringTemplates/

To export the definition information of PFM - Web Console:

Log on to the host on which PFM - Web Console has been installed.

Move to the command execution path.

installation-folder\tools

In UNIX
/opt/jp1pcwebcon/tools

Execute the jpcwbackup command to back up the definition information.
The following are notes on executing the command:

Do not specify a network drive for the backup destination.
-
Do not change the definition information and system configuration while backup is in process.

Do not perform any change operations that can be performed only by administrator users.

For example, when you back up the definition information to the c:\backup directory, execute the command as follows:
jpcwbackup -d c:\backup
