9.2.1 Methods of backing up and restoring definition information
The following table describes the methods you can use to back up and restore definition information associated with Performance Management.

If you are using version 10-00 or later of PFM - Manager or PFM - Base, we recommend that you use a backup script to back up the definition information for the Performance Management system. This method backs up the definition information for all Performance Management products on the host except PFM - Web Console. When using a version of PFM - Agent or PFM - RM earlier than 10-00 or backing up definition information for PFM - Web Console, back up the necessary files by copying them manually.
