5.2.1 Before uninstallation and unsetup

The following gives cautionary notes on uninstalling and performing unsetup of Performance Management:

When you uninstall Performance Management programs, always use an account that has Administrators permissions.

Even though Performance Management programs are uninstalled, the port numbers defined in the services file are not deleted.

If the OS's user account control (UAC) function is enabled, a UAC dialog box might be displayed during uninstallation. If this dialog box is displayed, click the Continue button to continue the uninstallation processing. If you click the Cancel button, the uninstallation processing will be cancelled.

(7) Notes on unsetup of remote agents of PFM - RM

After the unsetup procedure has been performed on the remote agents of PFM - RM (after the jpcconf target unsetup command has been executed), there is no need to execute the jpctool service delete command because the service information is deleted automatically.

However, for the new information to be applied to PFM - Web Console after the unsetup procedure, you must execute the jpctool service sync command.

Service information is deleted at the following time.
