4.10.1 Notes on the time setting of a monitoring target machine

When you change the current time to a past time, the system stores data collection and history information based on the changed time. If there is any data or history information that was collected on a date and time that is the same as before the change, you must clear the Store database by performing the procedure described below after you have changed the time setting.

To clear the Store database:

  1. Stop the programs and services of Performance Management.

    If any programs and services of Performance Management are running, stop all of them. Use the jpcspm stop command to stop services.

  2. Change the computer's current time to a past time.

  3. Start the programs and services of Performance Management.

    Start the programs and services of Performance Management. Use the jpcspm start command to start services.

  4. Execute the jpctool db clear command to delete the PI, PD, and PL records of the target Agent from the Store database.
