11. Managing Overlapping IP Addresses in a NAT Environment
NAT (network address translation) helps you save IP addresses by allowing many local networks to be connected to the global Internet using a single dynamic external (public) IP address. NAT can also enhance the security of private networks by hiding internal addresses from external networks.
