16.3.12 Select Color dialog box

The Select Color dialog box lists the color images of the colors that can be assigned to object states and RGB values. You must display this dialog box once when creating a color. Clicking the Select button from the Color Settings dialog box displays the Select Color dialog box.

The following explains the display items of the Select Color dialog box.

Available colors

Lists the color images of the colors that can be assigned to object states and their RGB elements. If an original color is created, JP1/AJS3 Console View adds it to the end of basic colors.

Color

Displays the sample images of colors and color names.

RGB-element

Displays the RGB elements of display elements in the "(R, G, B)" format.

Add button

Choose the Add button when creating a color other than the basic colors that JP1/AJS3 Console View provides. Clicking the Add button displays the Create Color dialog box. JP1/AJS3 Console View adds the created color to the end of the basic colors in Available colors. For details, see 16.3.13 Create Color / Change Color dialog box.

Edit button

Choose the Edit button when changing the RGB element or name of a created color. Clicking the Edit button displays the Change Color dialog box. The display items of the Change Color dialog box are the same as those of the Create Color dialog box. For details, see 16.3.13 Create Color / Change Color dialog box.

You can edit only originally created colors (other than basic colors provided by JP1/AJS3 Console View).

Delete button

Choose the Delete button when deleting an originally created color. You can delete only originally created colors (other than the basic colors provided by JP1/AJS3 Console View).

Supplementary note

Editing a color in the Change Color dialog box and clicking the OK button adds the color to Available colors in the Select Color dialog box. The added color is displayed in Available colors in the status in which it was selected. For this reason, to assign the created color to the selected status, click the OK button as is.
