14.5.1 How to create a background image file
To display background images in the Main Scope window and the Sub Scope window, you need to create a background image file and allocate it on JP1/AJS3 Console View.
This subsection explains how to create the background image file.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Type of file that you can specify as a background image file
You can specify an image file either the gif or jpg type for an image file.
(2) Software to be used
Use a graphic editor that enables to edit the gif type and jpg type.
(3) Calculation of background image size
The rough standard of width and height of background image file (in pixels) is:
Width of background image = 48 x Horizontal map size#1 x 2 x Standard zoom percentage#2/100
Height of background image = 48 x (Vertical map size#1 x 2 + 1) x Standard zoom percentage#2/100
- Example
-
The background image size when the map size is 10 x 8 (default value) and the standard zoom percentage is 100 is:
Width of background image = 48 x 10 x 2 x 100/100 = 960 (pixels)
Height of background image = 48 x (8 x 2 + 1) x 100/100 = 816 (pixels)
- #1
-
The value indicates the horizontal and vertical sizes of the map size of the business scope for which the background image is displayed.
- #2
-
The standard zoom percentage indicates in which zoom percentage the background image is displayed as its size.
(4) Background image file name
Use a file name beginning with user_ for the background image file you want to create.
(5) Storing destination of background image file
Save the created background image in the folder for storing background images.
The default path of the folder for storing background image is:
JP1/AJS3 - View-installation-folder\image\console\background
You can also change the folder storing background image. For details, see 14.3.7 Changing the folder storing background images.
