13.4.3 Defining the background image

You can define the background image to be displayed in the map area.

To specify the background image to be displayed and the display method:

Choose Edit and then Background.

The Background Settings dialog box appears.

Define the background, file name, and standard zoom percentage.
- Background
  
  To display the background image, specify Display.
  
  Alternatively, to use the background image of the upper-level business scope, you can also specify Depends on upper-level business scope.
- File name
  
  Specify the file name of the background image to be displayed.
- Standard zoom percent
  
  Specify the zoom percentage by which the specified background image has been displayed.
  
  For example, when you have always displayed the map area by the zoom percentage of 200%, specifying 200% for Standard zoom percent enables to display the specified image file as is in the background.
Click the OK button.

The background image appears in the map area.

When the same JP1 user logs in to the same JP1/AJS3 Console Manager from another JP1/AJS3 Console View, the same background image can be displayed if the specified background image exists.

Supplementary note: Clicking the Preview button in the Background Settings dialog box lets you display the background in the map area based on the information currently specified while the Background Settings dialog box remains open.
