7.1 Procedure for setting service share properties

The following describes how to set the service share property. By setting a value of a service share property, you can share, view, and update the value among multiple services.

Who can perform this task:

Users in the Admin role or Develop role

To set the service share property:

1. In the left pane of the Administration window, click Service Share Properties.

2. In the right pane (Service Share Properties view) of the Administration window, click the service share property you want to edit, and then click the Set Service Share Property button.

3. In the Service Share Properties dialog box, enter a property value, and then click the OK button.

   The property values you can enter depend on the service share property you selected.

4. In the Information dialog box, click the OK button.

The new value is assigned to the service share property.

You can then check the value in the Value column in the Service Share Properties view.
