5.1 Submitting services for immediate execution
This section describes how to submit a service for immediate execution. As soon as the user submits the service for execution, JP1/AO generates a task and processing begins immediately.
You can use the user interface or commands to submit a service for immediate execution.
Who can perform this task:

To submit services for immediate execution from the user interface:
Users in the Admin role, Develop role, Modify role, or Submit role

To submit services for immediate execution using a command:
Users in the Admin role, Develop role, Modify role, or Submit role who also have Administrator permissions for the OS
To submit a service for immediate execution from the JP1/AO user interface:

In the Services window, select the service you want to submit for execution, and then click the Submit button.

Alternatively, in the Services window, you can click the name of the service you want to submit for execution.

In the Submit Service dialog box, enter information about the task.

Check the property information, and enter the required values in the relevant fields.
The required property information depends on the service template.

In the Schedule Type list box, select Now.

Click the Show Plan button.

Review the information in the Plan Summary dialog box, and then click the Submit button.
JP1/AO generates the task, and processing begins immediately.
You can check the status of the task in the status column in the Tasks view of the Tasks window.
To submit a service for immediate execution using a command:
From the command prompt, execute the submittask command.
As soon as you submit the service for execution, JP1/AO generates a task and processing begins immediately.
You can check the status of the task in the status column in the Tasks view of the Tasks window.
