2.1 Logging in to JP1/AO

Log in to JP1/AO by entering the login URL in a Web browser.

Who can perform this task:

All users

To log in to JP1/AO:

  1. Use your Web browser to access the login URL.

  2. Enter your user ID and password.

    The first time you log in to a new installation of JP1/AO, log in as the following user and create users with User Management permission as needed.

    • User ID: system

    • Password: manager

    To prevent unauthorized access, we recommend that you change the password of the System account.

  3. Click the OK button.

Login URL:

The URL used to log in to JP1/AO depends on whether JP1/AO is operating in a cluster environment.

  • As host-name-or-IP-address, specify the host name or IP address you specified when installing JP1/AO.

  • The default for port-number is 23015 for HTTP connection, and 23016 for HTTPS connection. Note that you can change the port number from the default.

Cluster system

For HTTP connection

http://logical-host-name-or-logical-IP-address:port-number/Automation/

For HTTPS connection

https://logical-host-name-or-logical-IP-address#1:port-number/Automation/

The default for port-number is 23015 for HTTP connection, and 23016 for HTTPS connection. Note that you can change the port number from the default.#2

For HTTPS connection, we recommend that you specify the host name if the host name is specified for SSL server certificate, or the IP address if the IP address is specified as the URL. If they do not match, a warning or error message is displayed.

When changing the port number of JP1/AO in a cluster system, stop the service in the cluster software. When changing the port number, you must do so on the primary and secondary host.
