1.6.15 Retention periods for task histories
The retention period for task histories is determined from the maximum retention count and the number of tasks generated per day. Because the JP1/AO system deletes task histories in excess of the maximum retention count, use the listtasks command as needed to export the History list. You can set the maximum retention count for task histories in a property file.
You can use the following method to calculate the number of days of task histories to keep:
number-of-days-of-task-histories-to-keep (truncate after the decimal point) = maximum-number-of-task-histories-to-keep / number-of-tasks-generated-per-day
