1.3.3 Note to the system administrator

If any problem occurs during operation, see the chapter about troubleshooting in the Job Management Partner 1/Base User's Guide, collect log information, and perform the initial investigation.

To perform the initial investigation for identifying the cause of the problem, see the OS log information (Windows event log in Windows, and syslog in UNIX) and the log information output by JP1/Base. Use these two sets of log information to check the time when the problem occurred and avoid the same problem or take an appropriate action.

In addition, record the operations performed up to the problem. If possible, check whether the problem can be repeated.
