7.4 Importing J2EE applications to the execution environment

Import a J2EE application (EAR file) that is created using a build file into the execution environment. Note that the methods of importing an EAR file into the execution environment include the method of importing the EAR files in the packaged archive format and the method of importing the EAR files in the exploded archive format. In both the methods, you can use the server management commands or the management portal for importing the EAR files. The import methods for each format of the J2EE application are as follows:
