rdsafbkup

The rdsafbkup command backs up management files.

Description

This command backs up management files that JP1/Software Distribution Client uses. You can use this command when JP1/Software Distribution Client is in a stop status.

Format

rdsafbkup[-f file-name]
     [-k management-file-type [management-file-type...]]

Options

-f file-name ~ <within the system limits>((within the system limits))
Specify the name of an output destination file used to store a backup. If you omit this option, the default device of the tar command stores an output backup.

-k management-file-type ~ ((G, X))
Specify the type of the management file you want to back up.

Job management file
If you omit this option, the system backs up of all management files.

End code

End code Meaning
0 Command processing terminated normally.
99 JP1/Software Distribution Client is running.
254 The user who entered the command is not the system administrator.
255 An attempt to acquire a backup failed.
