7.1.1 Initializing the temporary package storehouse

When you initialize the temporary package storehouse, all the packages stored in the storehouse are deleted. You can initialize the temporary package storehouse from a UNIX machine or the managing server.

To delete the temporary package storehouse from a UNIX machine, execute the rdsft -init command of the client services.

To delete the temporary package storehouse from the managing server, execute as follows:

• For the Windows managing server
  Execute the Delete all packages in relay system job.
  
• For the UNIX managing server
  Execute the Batch delete packages on relay system job using the rdsdmind command.
