5.1.2 Controlling job registration/execution

You can use JP1/Software Distribution Client to distribute packages to a distribution-destination system that is directly connected to the local system at JP1/Software Distribution Client. Prior to distribution, specify the name of the distribution-destination system and the package to be distributed in the distribution job. Register this information in the job management file. When the registered distribution job is executed, the package will be distributed to the distribution-destination system.

To register and execute a distribution job, use the distributor tool command rdsafind (with the -d option specified). If only the job registration is successful, you can use the rdsafind command (with the -x option specified) to complete the execution.
