2.3.3 Displaying package attributes

To display the attributes of the packages managed in the package attribute file, use the rdsafrsc -c command.

Table 2-9 shows the major package attributes managed by the package attribute file and whether they can be displayed using the rdsafrsc -c command.

Packager type code Code indicating the type of the packager Y
Cabinet ID Name of the cabinet Y
Package ID Name assigned to the package at packaging Y
Version Version of the package Y
Generation number Generation number of the package Y
Program name General name of the package (common name other than the package ID) -
Package size Size of the package Y
Packaging date Date when the resource was registered Y
Program identifier Information that indicates the package type Y
Package storage period Time limit for storing the distributed package in the temporary package storehouse in the relay system at remote installation Y
Packaging flag Flag that indicates whether packaging is completed Y
Package format Information that indicates whether the package is shared Y
Existence of the installation script file Information that indicates whether the shared package has an installation script file Y
Owner name Name of the package owner (name of the person who registered the package) -
Installation date/time Time and date when the package is to be installed Y
Installation timing Instance of installation (see 2.1.3 Distribution specifying the installation timing) -
Name, mode, owner, group of the installation target directory Information about the installation target directory -
Generator type Program used for installation in the distribution-destination system, either the generator of client services (standard) or the generator of generator tools (GF). -
External program processing for installation User-specific program that is started before or after the installation of packages (see 2.1.2 Distribution with UAP startup before and after package installation) -
Recovery facility Information that indicates whether to execute recovery if package installation fails -
Backup file storage period Number of days to store the backup in the distribution-destination system if recovery fails or it is not executed even if the recovery facility is used -
Prerequisite version Prerequisite version required when the upgraded package is to be installed (see 2.1.10 Preventing package distribution by checking versions) Y
User comment User comment at packaging -
Cabinet capacity Upper-limit for the number of resources that can be registered in a cabinet. Users can set this value between 256 and 5,000 (see 6.2.4(1) Package storehouse (temporary package storehouse)). -
Virtual file name Value to be assumed if JP1/Software Distribution Manager executes packaging without storing packages in the package storehouse and the name of the file at the installation destination is not specified -
