When certain inventory information is updated at a client, you can use polling to have the client report that information when it connects to the managing server.

To use this facility, the following setup is required during the client setup of the JP1/Software Distribution Client:

On the System Monitoring page, select the check box for When the system is changed, inventory information is notified to Higher System.
