You display the Software Distribution - Update User Information dialog box by choosing the Update User Information icon from the Start menu. However, this method does not necessarily enable you to display the dialog box and enter information at the time required by the managing server. Hitachi recommends that you specify appropriate client settings so that the Software Distribution - Update User Information dialog box will display automatically when required. To do this, you select necessary items on the Notification Dialog Box page.

• Display the Update User Information dialog box: At system boot
  Specify this option for automatic display of the dialog box immediately after the client is started following distribution (or updating) of an item list by the managing server.
  
• Display the Update User Information dialog box: At periodic execution
  Specify this option to display the Software Distribution - Update User Information dialog box periodically. These settings remain in effect for periodic execution by the managing server of Get user inventory information jobs.
