- When a client is installed on a Windows NT-based PC, you must log onto the OS again if you want to display the message dialog box.
- If the client's OS is Windows NT and if Client starts automatically at system boot is not selected on the Default Running Status/Polling page of the Client Setup dialog box, the message dialog box is displayed only immediately following the logon.
- If you log off or shut down a client while it is displaying the message dialog box, the same message dialog box is displayed when you log onto the client next time.
- If Run the client with non-Administrator user permissions is not selected on the Security page of the Client Setup dialog box, messages are displayed only while the user who installed the client is logged on.
- Messages received by clients are not deleted until OK in the message dialog box is clicked. Note that specifying * as the connection destination on the Connection Destination page of the Client Setup dialog box initializes the client and deletes all the messages that have been received.
