This window displays the physical configuration information of the systems that make up the JP1/Software Distribution system. Before a JP1/Software Distribution job can be executed, all systems targeted by the job must first be defined in this window.

The system configuration is displayed hierarchically in the left-hand frame of the window. The right-hand frame has the seven tabs listed below; you can use these tabs to select the information that is to be displayed.

Note that these seven tabs are also displayed in the Destination window and the Directory Information window.

List tab

Displays as a list the systems that are subordinate to the system selected in the left-hand frame.

Attributes tab

Displays the attributes (host identifier, host name, etc.) of the system selected in the left-hand frame. The date on which the system configuration information was updated is displayed under Update date/time. Note that the icons displayed in the Keys column are the type of node identification key.

Installed Packages tab

Displays information on the packages installed in the system selected in the left-hand frame. Information on the following types of software obtained by Get software information from client jobs is displayed:

• Software installed by JP1/Software Distribution Manager
• Software searched using a software search list of the managing server
• Software registered under Add/Remove Programs in the client's Control Panel

System Information tab

Displays the hardware information on the system selected in the left-hand frame. Information obtained by Get system information from client jobs is displayed.

User Inventory tab

Displays the user inventory information on the system selected in the left-hand frame. Items distributed by Transfer user inventory schema to client jobs as well as the values entered by the client user for these items (obtained by Get system information from client or Get user inventory information jobs) are displayed.

This tab is not displayed on a relay system.

Registry Information tab

Displays registry information on the system selected in the left-hand frame. Items distributed by Transfer registry collection definition jobs as well as their corresponding values (obtained by Get system information from client jobs) are displayed.

This tab is not displayed on a relay system.

Software Inventory tab

Displays information on the software installed in the system selected in the left-hand frame. Software information obtained by Search for a file, Search for Microsoft Office products, and Search for anti-virus products in Get software information from client jobs is displayed.
