11.9.1 Error when inventory information is imported

This section describes the errors that may occur when JP1/Software Distribution's inventory information is imported, and their principal causes and actions.

Organization of this subsection
(1) A message such as "Error occurred during command execution. For details, see the log file" is displayed
(2) A message such as "Connection error occurred" is displayed
(3) ASTMESn.LOG file containing a message such as "Asset No. cannot be automatically assigned." is output to the log folder
(4) A message such as "Initialization failed" is output to the log folder

In the Server Setup dialog box, if Assign key for asset information under Link with JP1/SD is set to Use asset number, you cannot specify Auto for asset numbers.

Change the asset number setting from the Assign Inventory window, or change Assign key for asset information to Use working key.

(4) A message such as "Initialization failed" is output to the log folder

The operating environment of Asset Information Manager might be corrupted.

Re-install Asset Information Manager.
