5.11.4 Importing sample data for design (linkage with JP1/SD)

To use sample data for design (linkage with JP1/Software Distribution), a user with administrator permissions must execute sampletrial.bat. Use this sample data to manipulate the main windows of Asset Information Manager and help design the asset management system.

sampletrial.bat is stored at the following location:

Asset-Information-Manager-installation-folder\Sample\TrialData

When you execute sampletrial.bat, sampleuser.bat and samplelocation.bat are also executed at the same time. Therefore, there is no need to execute these two batch files individually.

Note
Before configuring the actual asset management system, make sure that you execute jamdbclear.bat to delete the sample data for design (linkage with JP1/SD) from the asset management database. For details about how to delete the sample data for design (linkage with JP1/SD), see 5.11.5 Deleting the sample data.
