Appendix A.7 Checking the operating environment of JP1/AJS3 - Manager

You can check the operating environment of JP1/AJS3 - Manager from NNM.

The information you can check includes the name of the JP1/AJS3 scheduler service, operation status of the JP1/AJS3 scheduler, and operation start time.

To check the operation status of JP1/AJS3 - Manager from NNM:

  1. Execute the ovw command in NNM.
    The IP Map appears.
  2. Click the host for which you want to check the operating environment, and choose Administer, JP1/AJS2 Manager and View Status.
    The ajsstatus window appears.

  3. Check the operating environment of JP1/AJS3 - Manager.
    For details about the contents displayed in the ajsstatus window, see ajsstatus in 2. Commands in the manual Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Command Reference 1.

Cautionary note
In the ajsstatus window, to display the information of the operating environment of JP1/AJS3, you must set the user mapping in the target host. In the user mapping, set the name of the user who enters the ovw command and the name of the OS user for the requests from the host where NNM is started. For details on how to set the user management function of JP1/Base, see 3.1.1 Setting up JP1/Base in the Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide 1 (for Windows) or 12.1.1 Setting up JP1/Base in the Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide 1 (for UNIX).
In the ajsstatus window, to display the information of the operating environment of JP1/AJS3, JP1/AJS3 - Manager must be installed in the host where NNM is installed.
