(1) Items displayed in common
The following figure shows the items displayed in common.
Figure 15-18 Common displayed items in the Define Details - [Jobnet] dialog box (for a nested jobnet)
The following explains the items displayed in common.
- Unit name
- Specify a unit name. Use a character string of up to 30 bytes. The default is a blank.
- Comment
- Specify a comment for the unit. Use a character string of up to 80 bytes. The default is a blank.
- Exec-agent
- Specify the execution agent name or execution agent group name to be assigned the task of job execution. Use a character string of up to 255 bytes. If you omit the Exec-agent for a job in a jobnet, the system uses this value. If this value is also omitted, the system uses the value of the upper-level jobnet.
(2) Definition page
The following figure shows the Definition page in the Define Details - [Jobnet] dialog box (for a nested job).
Figure 15-19 Definition page in the Define Details - [Jobnet] dialog box (for a nested job)
The following explains the displayed items.
- Priority
- Specify the priority of a job. You can set None, or 1 to 5. The highest priority is 5. The default is None. If you set None for the priority of a job in a jobnet, the system uses the priority of the upper-level jobnet. The system uses this value if you set None for the priority of a job in a jobnet. Specifying None for all the upper-level jobnets (up to the highest one) causes the job's priority to be handled as 1.
- In UNIX, if non-root users execute jobs resulting from mapping, specifying the value of 4 or 5 will result in an authority error at the time of job execution.
- Monitor jobnet
- When using jobnet execution time to monitor the end delay of the jobnet, select Time-required-for-execution and specify the required jobnet execution time in minutes. You can specify 1 to 2,879. In the default mode, Time-required-for-execution is not selected
(3) Attributes page
