8.2 Setting for executing event jobs in a DNS environment (for upgrading)

In JP1/AJS 07-00 or later, you can use host names in the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) format, and alias host names when you use DNS.

This section shows the procedure for upgrading JP1/AJS2 06-71 or earlier to JP1/AJS 07-00 or later, and the procedure for setting when versions of agents are different.

Note that you only need to perform these settings when using event jobs. Since host name problems are already dealt with for standard jobs, action jobs and custom jobs, you do not need to perform these settings.
