2.8 Related Events (Summary) window

When the consolidated display of repeated events function is enabled, the Related Events (Summary) window lists the repeated events for a consolidation event.

The consolidated display of repeated events function consolidates identical JP1 events received in succession by JP1/IM - View into one event, and displays the event on the Monitor Events or Severe Events page of the Event Console window.

An event into which identical JP1 events have been consolidated is called a consolidation event. A consolidation event for which consolidation is in progress is called an event being consolidated. A consolidation event for which consolidation has been completed is called a consolidation completion event. Of the successive identical JP1 events received by JP1/IM - View, the first JP1 event is called the consolidation start event and the other JP1 events are called repeated events. An event for which no consolidation occurs because there are no repeated events is called a non-consolidation event.

The Related Events (Summary) window is displayed in either of the following cases:

Note that the Related Events (Summary) window is displayed only when consolidation events exist.

The following figure shows an example of the Related Events (Summary) window.
