Performance Management provides the following commands to operate the system:

(1) Service management commands
Performance Management provides commands to check the status of services.
The following are the main commands to manage the Performance Management services:

Command Description jpctool service list Checks the structure and status of the Performance Management services jpctool service delete Deletes the Performance Management service information jpctool service register Re-registers the Performance Management service information
(2) Alarm management commands
Alarm management commands include a command to set the alarm events issued when the monitored program exceeds a threshold.
The following table gives the main command used to set alarms.

(3) Report management commands
Report management commands include a command to create operation monitoring reports based on the data collected from the monitored program.

(4) Store database management commands
Store database management commands include commands used to perform setup and unsetup operations for the Store database.
The following table gives the main commands used to manage the Store database.

Command Description jpctool db backup Backs up data jpctool db clear Deletes data jpctool db dump Outputs the collected performance data to a text file jpctool db restore Restores data jpctool db import Imports backup data into the Store database (when using Store 2.0) jpctool db dmconvert Upgrades the data model of the backup data in the specified backup directory (when using Store 2.0) jpcasrec Changes and outputs the definitions of the Store database recording methods jpcaspsv Changes and outputs the definitions of the Store database retention conditions
(5) Data collection commands
Data collection commands include commands used to collect the necessary data together when problems occur.
The following table gives the main commands used to collect troubleshooting data.

Commands used to operate the system linking with other systems include a command used to enable or disable the linkage facility to JP1/IM.
