Performance Management provides the following commands to set up the system:
- Setup commands
- Commands used to set up the Store database
- Commands used to set up the Performance Management
- Commands used to set up linkage with other systems

(1) Setup commands
The following are types of setup commands:
- Commands used at setup
- Commands used to set up the monitoring targets of PFM - RM
- Commands used to set up an instance environment
- Commands used to set up the cluster system
(a) Commands used at setup
Commands used at setup include commands that specify PFM - Manager at the connection destination of PFM - Agent or PFM - RM, specify settings when you add PFM - Agent or PFM - RM, and specify port numbers used in Performance Management.
The following figure shows an overview of the commands used at setup.

The following are the main commands used at setup:

Command Description jpcconf mgrhost Displays, sets and changes the connection destination PFM - Manager jpcconf agent setup Additionally sets up a new PFM - Agent or PFM - RM jpcwagtsetup Additionally sets up a new PFM - Agent or PFM - RM to PFM - Web Console jpcconf port Displays and sets the port number used in Performance Management jpcconf host Renames the monitoring host in the Performance Management system, or changes the method for obtaining the monitoring host name (b) Commands used to set up the monitoring targets of PFM - RM
Commands used to set up the monitoring targets of PFM - RM include commands to add, delete, and display the monitoring targets of PFM - RM.
The following table gives the main commands used to set up the monitoring targets of PFM - RM.

Commands used to set up an instance environment include commands to create, delete, and display the instance environment.
The following table gives the main commands used to set up an instance environment.

Commands used to set up the cluster system include a command used to operate the logical host.
The following table gives the main command used to set up the cluster system.

(2) Commands used to set up the Store database
Commands used to set up the Store database include commands to change the Store database version.

Command Description jpcconf db vrset Changes the Store database version jpcconf db display Displays the status of the Store service and the Store version jpcconf db define Displays or modifies the settings of the Store service
(3) Commands used to set up the Performance Management functions
Commands used to set up the Performance Management functions include commands used to check whether the status management and health check functions are enabled or disabled, and to display information about the functions.
The following table gives the main commands used to set up the Performance Management functions.

Command Description jpcconf stat Checks whether the status management function is enabled or disabled, and displays information about the function jpcconf hc Checks whether the health check function is enabled or disabled, and displays information about the function jpcconf prodname Enables and disables the product name display function. Displays the settings for this function
(4) Commands used for configuring a linkage with other systems
The commands used to configure a linkage with other systems include the commands to enable or disable the JP1/IM linkage.
The following table gives the main command used to set up linkage with other systems.
