The following are notes on executing Client Tool.

• When the client machine OS is Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista, only a member of the Administrators group can install a program. Therefore, the User Account Control dialog box appears before Client Tool starts. After program execution is permitted in this dialog box, Client Tool can start. If you choose Cancel in this dialog box, Client Tool does not start.
• In the following cases, restart the client machine after executing Client Tool:
  
  • When installing Remote Control Agent
  • When overwriting JP1/Software Distribution Client 08-00 and later versions
• If a new installation using Client Tool fails, restart the client machine and then re-execute the installation. For details about how to re-execute a new installation, see the Job Management Partner 1/Software Distribution Setup Guide, for Windows systems.
