To use an installation set for an FTP server, perform the following procedure.

To execute Client Tool in an installation set for an FTP server:

1. Store dminst.exe and dminst.sci in the client machine.
   Store dminst.exe and dminst.sci that are distributed via the Web or email in the client machine. You can store dminst.exe and dminst.sci in any directory. However, they must be stored in the same directory. When the client machine OS is Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista, also store dminst.exe.manifest in the same directory.
   
2. Execute dminst.exe.
   When you execute dminst.exe, the installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client begins. Note that the Specify Connection Destination dialog box is displayed during installation only when you select Specify when installing Software Distribution Client in the Connection Destination page in creating the installation set. When this dialog box is displayed, determine the higher connection destination according to the instructions in the dialog box. When the installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client is completed, a completion dialog box is displayed and it disappears automatically after a while.
